OverviewI have worked with one of the few companies with sufficient knowledge, experience, and equipment to purely specialise in industrial cleaning. Utilising cleaning systems that have been developed throughout the world, from the simplest to the most complex and backed by technical consultants; they were internationally renowned for their experience and understanding of the varying applications. As you know, if inadequate methods are used, air conditioning ducts, vessels, exterior fascias, mental health, tube bundles, pipelines, drainage, air and water quality can, and often do, suffer from inefficient running, contamination, bacterial infestation, and in some cases irreversible damage. The cost of replacement, rebuilding or re-tubing, can run into thousands or millions of pounds. Companies who want to be successful in NTD (non-destructive testing) have not only to lead by innovative ideas, but also to incorporate the newest technology available on today's market. I would have been pleased to give you the benefit of my experience without obligation, in discussing your application over the telephone or to make an on-site visit and or advise on how to develop hygiene strategies, or to arrange a survey or risk assessment.I would take away the responsibility of having to: service your own equipment, order consumables and organise employees. Any support staff would have been fully trained and qualified in their respective fields. I would work with you to develop systems to suit your particular application, releasing your own staff for more important tasks. For example, many existing ductwork systems have insufficient access points to enable efficient cleaning. I installed doors at strategic points throughout the system to enable regular inspection, cleaning, and disinfection to be undertaken simply. I cleaned and inspected all confined or difficult access items, from 2mm tube to 300m towers. All contracts, whether £250 or £1.8M were executed as swiftly and efficiently as practicable, by a trained, trustworthy, conscientious, clean and discreet workforce. I am sure that you appreciate that applications vary greatly; therefore an independent assessment should be given. Available for use, the latest cleaning and inspection systems currently available on the market, and as such a tailor made service by using the right system for your particular application is by far the superior approach. I would have provided regular professional treatment to enable all walls, ceilings, floors, catering equipment, and extraction systems to comply with current Food Act and Health and Safety Legislation. Through the innovative methods devised over time I was able to offer many advantages to my collegues. I could deliver cleaning standards that lead to maximum effect and efficiency and surpassed expectations. By challenging the old industrial cleaning methods I could guarantee to do it faster and keep client costs down every time.

OverviewDuring my period of property development from, 86' to approx 03' save a family smallholding, I was quite heavily involved with Brian McShane who was instrumental and influential in the development in modifications to the 2000/01 amendments to the 1988 Housing Act, to which I seemed to have an integral and influential role. Indeed I was embroiled in several landlord/tenant legal battles that played an important role in the questions pertaining at the time, surrounding 'landlord/tenant' rights. This was largely due to joint ventures with Brian, my apparent ability to force action through regardless of obstacles and his eagerness to soak up my views and benefit by learning from the effects of such activity, and I think more importantly prepared to stand shoulder to shoulder with me.Sadly; Brian Mcshane passed away in 2002. He will always be a 'good friend' much missed and always remembered. The Landlords won the thrust of the arguments, but the tenants also enjoyed an equal measure of success."I feel a much more balanced framework now exists".I still manage the above smallholding on behalf of my family in Scotland which requires little, if any, activity, but it keeps my 'hand in' as it were, but I otherwise have disconnected through ill health.

General Building - Property Development
OverviewIn 1987, i was fortunate enough to acquire my first property, a 3 bed semi. Luckily I was able to purchase this on an out-right basis as a consequence of my seizing the moment out of the storms that caused chaos across the south-east of the same year (and cash boost later, from my then father-in-law, which enabled extended redevelopment).
